The Local EPC Man site has been created, tested and developed by a team of highly experienced Domestic and Commercial Assessors in the North West of England. Originally launched to help grow and secure their own businesses we are constantly being asked if we would open the web site to other Energy Assessors and Surveyors in different regions of the UK. After careful thought and further investment the Local EPC Man website  has now being marketed on a national basis.

The relationship between an assessor and a client is direct. We do not get involved in the commercial aspects of the transaction, neither price nor payment. There is no introduction fee for either the Assessor nor their client.

The concept is simple, uncomplicated and straightforward. "Members" register for areas where they provide service, which in our case is by postcode

  • Postcode District, eg BB11

Members can register for an unlimited number of Postcode Areas and within those areas all or just a selection of Postcode Districts. There is an annual fee which is based upon the areas and districts selected. The fees are calculated upon the number of properties in each district.

The concept allows for a maximum of 3 assessors in each district.

Renewal is simple, if you are already listed in an area  you have the right to automatic renewal. You cannot lose an area just because somebody else asks. The only condition is that you are notified 30 days prior to the end of the term and given the option to renew. If your decision is yes an invoice is issued with payment falling due within 14 days. In the event that payment has not been received within 7 days of the end of your annual term the area is released to the market.

Renewal costs will be your current annual fee plus an allowance for inflation. This we believe is the fairest approach.

We will review the base annual fee each year, with later "members" paying the latest base annual fee.
